Durante algunos años desarrollé “Locos”, un proyecto fotográfico que tuvo la intención de traer a la luz a algunas de las personas que rescatan animales, que salvan vidas y que en muchísimos casos, en forma de broma o no, se les suele decir que están locas. Yo sin dudas soy una de esas locas también y con el tiempo entendí que fotografiarlas a ellas era a su vez, estar mirándome a mi.
Suelo interesarme mucho en conectar con los seres que me rodean y también suelo encariñarme y sentir mucho apego por cada encuentro y los recuerdos que se generan a partir de ellos. “Locos” para mi es principalmente un diario íntimo de mi experiencia conociendo a cada una de estas personas y de todo lo que sucedió antes, durante, alrededor y despues de esos encuentros. Y además, es estas fotos.

For several years I developed "Locos", a photographic project that had the intention of bringing to light some of the people who rescue animals, who save lives and who in many cases, jokingly or not, are often told that they are crazy. I am undoubtedly one of those crazy women too and over time I understood that photographing them was also looking at me.

I am usually very interested in connecting with the beings that surround me and I also tend to become very fond of and feel very attached to each encounter and the memories that are generated from them. "Locos" for me is mainly an intimate diary of my experience getting to know each one of these people and everything that happened before, during, around and after those encounters. And besides, it's these photos.
