Auroville Dog Shelter

In 2017 I traveled to India, and among the cities I visited was Auroville, a community created in the 1970s where, among other things, private property does not exist.

One night, while eating at a restaurant inside the community, a dog approached me and I started to talk to him. The waiter came over, spoke to me about the dog, and told me about the Auroville dog shelter, where he volunteered.

Feeling a strong sense of synchronicity between my interests and that conversation, I asked him if I could visit, and he said yes.
